About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Program Administrator to join our team as an independent contractor (1099) for approximately 20-25 hours per week. You will play a critical role in delivering our online training program and supporting participants on their journey to IT careers. Training hours are optimized for East Coast participants.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging IT training sessions aligned with the Codecraft Works technical training goals and curriculum.
- Facilitate a supportive learning environment for differently-abled participants with varying levels of prior skills. Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus.
- Proactively check in on students, track their progress and remove barriers to learning
- Provide one-on-one coaching and mentorship to program participants when needed.
- Assist with program logistics, including scheduling, registration, and progress tracking.
- Maintain accurate program records and reports.
- Collaborate with instructors, mentors, and other program staff to ensure a seamless learning experience for participants.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in IT education, including but not limited to knowing the latest relevant CompTIA exam versions and sunsets.
Qualifications:
- 4 year BS or BAS STEM degree.
- CompTIA A+, CompTIA Security+ certifications.
- CompTIA Network+ certification is a plus.
- Experience teaching, training, or mentoring adults in a classroom or online setting.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Passion for helping people with disabilities achieve their goals.
- Proficiency in using technology for training delivery and communication.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be a US citizen.
