Case Study: Empowering Future Innovators: Codecraft Works & FieldCore

FieldCore, a GE Company: 20 Classrooms, 200 Students in 6th-11th grade, Teaching Team: 20 Online

Challenge: FieldCore, a GE company, recognized the importance of fostering a STEM-focused culture for their employees and their children. They wanted to equip the next generation with the skills and confidence to succeed in the ever-evolving world of technology.

Solution: For the third year, FieldCore partnered with Codecraft Works to offer engaging and interactive virtual summer camps for 200 children and teenagers of their US and UK employees.

Collaboration: Codecraft Works developed a curriculum that catered to various age groups and interests, covering topics like block-based languages, HTML & CSS, Lua, JavaScript, applied Machine Learning, Cyber Security, and more. The camps employed a “blended learning” approach, combining synchronous virtual sessions with independent work, allowing students to learn collaboratively and at their own pace.
