Our camps are strategically designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of computer science fundamentals. Through engaging activities and real-world projects, students delve into the realm of coding, creating personalized storyboard web apps and unleashing their creativity.
One of our most unique camps is Meaningful Software Innovation, where students discover the art of creating software that positively impacts society. They learn about the principles of human-centered design, user experience, and ethical considerations in software development.
Another highly sought-after camp is Intro to JavaScript, which introduces students to one of the most widely used programming languages in the world. They gain hands-on experience with JavaScript syntax, variables, functions, and debugging techniques.
For those interested in game development, our Roblox Game Development camp is a dream come true. Students learn how to build their own Roblox games using Lua, a popular programming language designed for game development, but used in industry applications as well.
At Codecraft Works, we recognize that cybersecurity is a critical component of the digital age. Our in-person Standard AFA CyberCamp equips students with the knowledge and skills to protect their online privacy and security. They explore topics such as encryption, network security, and ethical hacking.

Codecraft Camp Options
Standard AFA CyberCamp (In-Person)
Available for rising 6th - 12th graders at the Catherine Schweinsberg Rood Central Library in Cocoa, FL on July 8 - 12, 2024 ⎋.
Do you have a middle or high schooler with an interest in computers? Are you local to the Brevard County area? Then this may be the perfect camp for your student! In this camp, students will develop their computer science and cybersecurity skills while meeting peers with common interests. Interested participants will be well-prepared and welcome to join our CyberPatriot team during the school year to continue collaborating and honing their skills!

AFA Cyber Safety
Currently available for ages 9 - 11.
In an increasingly digitized world, teaching our kids about online safety has become more important than ever. In this camp, students will learn about common internet threats and ways to protect themselves online. Students will have a chance to earn the AFA US CyberPatriot Tech Caregiver certification at the end of the program.

Roblox Game Development
Currently available for ages 9 - 11 and 12 - 14.
Encourage your kids’ love of computer science through their interest in gaming! In this camp, students will gain experience with programming in Lua in a specialized game engine. Students will plan, design and code their own projects and present them to their class.

Meaningful Software Innovation (MSI)
Currently available for 5th - 7th and 8th - 12th grades.
Develop your student’s behavioral science and design thinking skills needed to excel in high school and college. In this camp, students will code web apps about the things that are important to them. At the same time, they will receive a beginner-friendly introduction to web coding with HTML & CSS.

Intro to JavaScript
Currently available for ages 12 - 14.
Looking for a fun, engaging next step into coding for students with HTML and CSS experience? In this camp, students will build on their HTML foundation and learn what it means to think like a programmer, gain experience with JavaScript, and learn the fundamentals of programming. Students will create fun projects for friends and family to play with using variables, loops, and operators.

Intro to Programming with Blockly & Python
Currently available for ages 12 - 14.
Learn the fundamentals of programming and gain familiarity with Python, an in-demand language for software development. In this camp, students will create a complex app they can present and share. Students will create Python projects through block-based code, which helps students understand new code concepts, makes coding more beginner-friendly, and eliminates many frustrating bugs.
