Codecraft Works Partners with TechFutures

Empowering the Next Generation with Powerful Connections

We are thrilled to announce our collaboration with the TechFutures summer program! Funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF), this two-month program runs from June 1st to July 31st and is hosted at Florida Tech’s Vertex Applied Innovation Hub. TechFutures equips participants (ages 18-23)—including those facing barriers to high-tech education and career access—with hands-on skills in advanced manufacturing and microelectronics. Through immersive workshops in Arduino coding, 3D printing, and soldering, participants build technical confidence, problem-solving abilities, and workforce readiness. Cherry on top, there is no cost for accepted student participants to attend!

To support this incredible mission, Codecraft Works is excited to join a lineup of amazing industry speakers and Florida Tech faculty. On June 17th, we will lead an onsite exploration into the dynamic college and career opportunities available in Software and AI Innovation (SAI). As generative AI redefines the professional landscape, we want to show students how blending software engineering with responsible, “Human-in-the-Loop” AI models can empower them to solve real-world problems and become indispensable innovators.

To build on this momentum, Codecraft Works is proud to host a month-long, paid learning experience in July exclusively for TechFutures participants. Students will dive deeper into our SAI curriculum, learning to build foundational web architecture, audit AI outputs, and design meaningful digital portfolios. This collaboration directly aligns with TechFutures’ goal of bridging opportunity gaps and providing clear pathways to higher education and meaningful careers in STEM.
